Exod 36 to 38  (Daily bible reading)

Text of focus: Exodus 40:33-34 KJV

And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work. [34] Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

From the focus text today, we can see the glory of God descending over the tabernacle,  but before that, we saw that Moses did everything as the Lord commanded. 

That indicates that complete obedience brings down God's glory.

2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

We operate in the full authority of the presence of God when our obedience is complete.

Do all diligence to obey God completely today and watch Him beautify your life with His glory.

Summary 

In the chapters read today (Exodus 39 to 40), we learned about how Moses obeyed God in building the terbanacle and the ark according to the instruction God gave him. God laid in the heart of people to be committed to the project. The wise-hearted and the great company of people supplied both skills and resources necessary for the project and the provision was surplus, even in the wilderness. As soon as the project was completed, the cloud of God's glory descended. When we obey God completely, we will see His glory.
