Proverbs 19:21 KJV
There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord , that shall stand.
The Lord made us with the ability to think and make choices."Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"
We can see that we have the choice of what actions to take but not of the consequences we'll face. "We can choose actions but we can't choose consequences"
As the government can place a penalty on acts of lawlessness, but the government has no power over your own decision to be lawless and you have no power over the penalties for lawlessness if you're caught. Of all the devices in the heart of men none has been able to save his life. God whose counsel stands forever gave us the way out, which is "The ultimate counsel" to choose life.
God will reign and every knee will bow to Him, we need to choose Him now and do His will.
Surrender your devices, and desire God's will in every aspect of your life, and things will change for better.
